1303 - Lot 19 - Byalee Boss

2013 March auction

On account of Byalee Stables
Bay colt, 26/09/2012, mature 15.3hh

Byalee Boss is one of our most friendly Briar babies – and they just keep coming! Nicknamed Hugo, he is by the beautiful palomino warmblood stallion Byalee Briar, who is by Bjorsells Briar, the world’s number one dressage stallion for seven fantastic international years of Olympic and World Cup success until his recent retirement. Both Briar and the dam line, Bernstein, are elite-listed Swedish stallions, along with Briar’s sire Magini, the sire of Australian-based Grand Prix stallion Magritte! Not bad! And then there is the dam - Maeve is by Grand Prix stallion Richmeed Medallion (imp, dec) out of Stirling Flute (Salute, imp, dec). This is arguably our best cross, Briar-Medallion, with the best of all lines coming together to create an amazing little chap who can really move but has a temperament to die for.

Hugo is a rare opportunity to snaffle a unique product. His half-sister by Byalee Romance, Byalee Rave, was bought by a working pupil who was in the know, and this chap is again an employee favourite. Well handled, gorgeous personality, great little chap who loves life. Don’t miss out!
